"It takes two people to have a child. A village to make the child an adult." (Surinamese proverb)
As a parent, there are times when you worry about your child. You often know how to give the right push so that your child can take the next step in his or her development. It is possible that your instructions no longer receive a listening ear. You may not be in a position for the hot child to say anything anymore.
It may then be a good idea to hire professionals to help your child further. Maussen has experience with children from 16 years of age. We are happy to refer younger children to our network of therapists.
Maussen has a long experience with students who, for whatever reason, get stuck in their studies. The poor study results and lagging behind contemporaries are visible. Students often complain about concentration and motivation problems.
It is less visible where the attention does go. What things keep them so busy. What causes stress? Where is their concern? They often find it difficult to put it into words.
